The heat of a tropical island...

Have arrived in Indonesia at last!

Right in the middle of the rainy season, Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia is rather hot and hyper humid...

The traffic, the noise, the smell and the humidity. Reminds me of the time I spent in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. But something is different. Have to figure it out.

I've been to many European countries including the developing east, a couple of African countries, but this would be my first stay in an Asian developing country (excluding transit stays).

Am ready for the adventure, whatever may come before me.
